Upcycled Painting

Using an old painting I found in our garage I decided to upcycle the frame and give the image a make-over for a little bit of fun!

The painting was the work of Jules Grun and is titled “The Dinner Party” so I thought the addition of some fun party hats, jewellery, speech bubbles and a quirky frame would really help to bring the characters to life in a modern way.

My inspiration for upcycling is a lady called Zoe Pocock. She has a really great instagram account called ‘Mucknbrass’ where she recycles unwanted items into cool and imaginative peices that she sells on her website.
